With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

Serpentine Jarrahdale Career And Enterprise Expo has been designed as an opportunity for people from across the local community to connect with leading local employers as they explore the opportunities available to them in the workforce, and develop the skills required to pursue a career in their chosen field.
Hosted at Byford Secondary College on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of June 2025, the Expo will see students and the broader community coming together to learn, connect and share with employers looking to build their workforce.
With the Expo free to attend, guests will be able to get hands-on with a range of emerging technologies, hear from local leaders in their field, participate in masterclasses to build their skills, and network with employers looking to recruit.
With support from Byford Secondary College, The Shire Of Serpentine Jarrahdale, and industry leaders such as Alcoa, Smart Stream Technologies, Wormall Civil, Bendigo Bank and the Peel Chamber Of Commerce, this is an event not to be missed.

Friday the 27th of June 2025 is the School Day of the Expo with schools from across the region invited to bring their students to explore future career pathways.
For Industry
We're looking for organisations from across Western Australia that are looking to engage with the next generation of top talent to join as exhibitors at the expo.
For Community
Hear from industry-leading speakers, get hands on with a range of immersive experiences, and explore the careers available in the local community.

With up to 80 exhibitors on show at the expo, we have clustered activations by industry to allow attendees to explore the industries that interest them the most. Here are the industries we have on offer at the showcase:
School Day
Friday 27th June 2025
Friday the 27th of June 2025 is our dedicated School Day of the Serpentine Jarrahdale Career And Enterprise Expo.
With 80 industry partners hosting hands-on experiences for students, a curated lineup of presentations from leading local professionals, and a host of opportunities to connect, engage and explore, the School Day has been designed to help young people explore the diverse range of career pathways available to them.
The Schools Day is free to attend for all schools in the region with the program designed for year 9-12 students. Each school will be given a 90 minute time slot for their students to explore all the Expo has to offer.

Community Day
Saturday 28th June 2025
On Saturday the 28th of June the Serpentine Jarrahdale Career And Enterprise Expo will be free to attend for members of the public.
Over the course of our Community Day, attendees will be able to network with up to 80 organisations from a diverse range of industries across the state. Our industry partners will be profiling the jobs available in their organisations, showcasing their latest technologies, presenting skill-building masterclasses, and providing a host of fun and engaging opportunities for attendees to engage with as they explore the exciting opportunities available in the workforce.

It's free to get involved, and organisations are able to get as involved as they like. Whether you'd like to sit on a panel discussion to share your work, have a stall set up to showcase your organisation, demonstrate some emerging technology you're using, or actively run recruitment interviews or masterclasses, we'd love to see how we could get you involved in the 2025 Expo.
The Expo will be taking place on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of June 2025 with approximately 2000 attendees expected with a mix of high school students, university students and members of the local community, all with an interest in career opportunities in the region.
